Twins

From Liz, mother of the twin boys.
“My twins received the flu vaccine on December 23.
On December 24, they didn’t feel well. We took them to an urgent care and had them tested for the flu. They both tests positive for Flu A.
We canceled our Christmas festivities and tried to get them back to being healthy. On December 26, my son didn’t wake up. While he was still breathing and had a heartbeat, he was completely unresponsive. He was taken to the hospital and upon being diagnosed with flu A, pneumonia, and viral sepsis, he was admitted to the PICU.
He spent a week in the hospital, but he was still too weak to walk on his own when he was released. He had lost 7% of his body weight and his muscles had atrophied due to the sepsis, so he lost his balance, strength, and coordination. After a few days home, he was able to walk 2-3 steps before he would fall down. We thought he had gained enough strength, balance, and coordination back after two weeks, but he fell while walking and landed on his chin. He had to get 5 stitched in his chin. He had the stitches removed 5 days later and the very next day, he fell again and had to get stitches put back in.
Almost 9 months later, he still receives physical therapy to help him regain his balance, strength and coordination. He is still 2 lbs less than he was when he got sick. I recently submitted his reaction to VAERS and it was verified by his pediatrician and the hospital pediatrician. It was this adverse reaction that finally woke me up.”
